Description
Sometimes I think that we can get so stuck on the vegetables and spices that are available to us in stores. Jalapeno, cayenne, birds eye. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But if you want to explore the tastes of other countries, it is hard to know about those delicacy’s if you don’t actually travel there.
In Japan the Shishito better is enjoyed tempura-battered or fried. In summer it is enjoyed fresh, where it has a sweeter taste.
The heat can go up to Jalapeno pepper’s heat if your plant had stress and lots of sunshine.
Shishito is super easy to grow and does well in pots, hanging baskets and even as houseplants.
