Ayote Green butternut is an heirloom variety, Cucurbita Moschata is a lovely green version of the much loved orange variety.
More of a sweet potato with a hint of butternut flavour, rather than butternut. Great for soups, stews, roasting and mashing. The smaller fruits can be harvested and enjoyed as zucchini. You harvest in 120 days.
