Description
Yellow prickly pear is the solution if you have spot in the garden that is dry and you would like to grow fruit without caring. Only with a lot of water and no drainage will they get cochineal which you can simply remove by hand or spray a dish soap and garlic water solution.
The fruit has a tropical sent and flavor with a hint of sweetness. Delicious when cold. Can be enjoyed as is or added to smoothies.
